- Hi everybody
-
- I know i might be a bit late with myself obtaining Maple V Rev3 and therefore I
- believe I missed quite a lot of the talk about this software. But I do have
- some serious problems with Maple and I would like to ask if somebody can get me
- some answers to my problems.
-
- First, I heard about some patch for MapleV but was not able to find it
- somewhere.
-
- I experience a lot of severe crashes in Maple while trying to use subprogram
- mapleplot, color dithering does not work as expected (leaving blank areas where
- theres supposed to be some color) and on using some alternate screen it crashes
- most frequently.
-
- After running Enforcer and Mungwall while using MapleV, I got massive output
- from both the main program and its sub mapleplot (Like a Mungwall hit while
- freeing a 84 byte memory chunk for font structures which is not of Amiga's
- desired size). My own estimations are that some system structures are not
- properly NIL-terminated but I am confused by the knowledge of Maple's
- developers implementing such wonderfull software and not debugging these flaws.
-
- My configuration contains some weird working EGS with unholy Visiona as an
- output medium, but I never encountered such problems and my version of EGS
- (7.2) should be up to date.
-
- Many thanks,
- Frank
